Job Summary

The Azure DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing and managing DevOps practices on the Azure platform. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless integration and deployment of applications, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps tools.
• Provide application support and troubleshoot issues related to deployments and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance the deployment process and improve application performance.
• Utilize scripting languages such as PowerShell or Groovy to automate tasks and optimize workflows.
• Monitor and maintain application servers including JBoss, Tomcat, and IIS to ensure high availability and performance.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Azure and its services.
  • Strong experience with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD methodologies.
  • Familiarity with application server management (e.g., JBoss, Tomcat, IIS).
  • Experience in PowerShell and/or Groovy scripting for automation.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional DevOps tools and technologies.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker or orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

Experience

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Azure DevOps or a similar role is required.
