Azure DevOps + CI/CD Pipeline Engineer

About the Role

Duration: 12 months

Location: Chennai;Bangalore; Hyderabad

Timings: Full-time role, 11am - 8pm with US Fortune 

Notice Period: (Immediate Joiner - Preferred)

Summary:
 

• Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure DevOps + CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure DevOps, continuous integration, and continuous deployment practices.

Must have skills: 

• Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and modern software engineering practices.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

• Solid understanding of version control systems, such as Git, and experience with branching and merging strategies.

• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Qualifications: 

• Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.

• Experience with other CI/CD tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, or GitLab.

• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager.

• Data engineering related services experience in Azure like ADF, Databricks or Data lake.

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps principles.

• Experience with automated testing frameworks and practices.

• Understanding of networking concepts and infrastructure components.

• Knowledge of performance monitoring and optimization techniques.

• Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
