Job Summary

The Java Sr. Software Engineer will be responsible for backend server-side development, creating scalable microservices, and ensuring the deployment of high-quality software solutions. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend server-side applications using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Design and implement microservices architecture for scalable applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features efficiently.
• Engage in cloud development, particularly with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Utilize SQL and NoSQL databases for data management, including RDS, Postgres, MySQL, DynamoDB, and Mongo.
• Employ functional programming techniques using Java or Haskell.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in microservice development using Java.
• Proficient in backend server-side development with advanced knowledge of Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, specifically AWS.
• Experience with SQL databases (RDS/Postgres/MySQL) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB/Mongo).
• Familiarity with functional programming paradigms, particularly in Java or Haskell.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with multiple teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Scala in microservice development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using tools like Netflix Spinnaker.
• Experience working with Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery.
