Job Summary

The Automation Testing role focuses on developing and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of software applications. This position contributes to the organization’s goal of delivering high-quality software products by minimizing defects through automated testing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for various applications.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand application features and functionalities.
• Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify issues.
• Report and document defects and work with developers on resolving them.
• Continuously improve automated testing processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and practices.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
• Experience with automation testing tools like Selenium, QTP, or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Familiarity with performance and security testing.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation testing is preferred.

Environment

• This is a full-time position based in either Pune or Chennai.
• The candidate will work in a typical office setting with opportunities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
