Job Summary

The SCM Functional Consultant will play a critical role in supporting the supply chain management processes within the organization. This position is remote but requires travel to the customer's plant in Halol, Gujarat, approximately 5-7 days each month. The consultant will leverage their expertise in Oracle R12.2 EBS and manufacturing knowledge to ensure efficient operation and communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Interface with key stakeholders in the client organization to support assigned tasks.
• Define priorities, write functional specifications, and coordinate developments with the technical team.
• Test and train users regularly, providing clear communication regarding enhancement status.
• Report activities to management and collaborate with functional support teams across various zones.
• Ensure best practices in promoting code to different instances and participate in end-to-end project implementations.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on extensive knowledge of Oracle Order Management (OM) and Procure to Pay (P2P) modules.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Business Administration, etc.).
• Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience as an Oracle R12.2 EBS Functional consultant.
• Technical Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of Oracle Order Management and Procure to Pay modules.
  • Experience with India localization and Goods and Services Tax (GST).
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Proficiency in tools such as SQL Developer, Toad, and Putty, as well as version control systems.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent client management and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong team player who values collective success.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Oracle Implementation methodologies, including Applications Implementation Methodology (AIM) and Oracle Unified Method (OUM).
• Familiarity with best practices for promoting code and managing enhancements effectively.

Experience

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in supply chain management and Oracle EBS implementations.

Environment

• This is a remote position; however, candidates must be based out of Pune or Mumbai to facilitate travel to Halol, Gujarat, as required.
