Job Summary
The Manager/Associate - Learning & Development (Behavioural & Organizational Development) is responsible for designing, implementing, and driving learning initiatives that enhance behavioural skills and organizational development across retail stores and corporate teams. This role is critical in translating business needs into actionable training programs, skill assessments, and development interventions that foster engagement, performance, and growth within the organization.
Responsibilities

Training Design & Implementation
- Develop behavioural training programs for store managers, stylists, and corporate teams.
- Conduct workshops, role plays, simulations, and e-learning sessions.
- Ensure training content aligns with Bombay Shirt Company's values, Customer Experience (CX) principles, and performance standards.

Organizational Development
- Support organizational initiatives related to capability building, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Identify skill gaps through diagnostics, surveys, and performance metrics.
- Partner with business heads to create career progression frameworks and high-potential talent programs.

Skill Development & Coaching
- Mentor and coach store managers and stylists to enhance behavioural skills, leadership, and problem-solving.
- Implement coaching interventions, feedback loops, and performance follow-ups.
- Evaluate training effectiveness using metrics such as Net Promoter Score (NPS), performance scores, and employee engagement surveys.

Learning Strategy & Reporting
- Maintain a training calendar and dashboard for tracking completion, impact, and return on investment (ROI).
- Recommend improvements in learning methodologies, tools, and digital solutions.
- Align learning programs with broader CX and business performance goals.
Qualifications

Educational Background
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field.

Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development (L&D), behavioural training, or organizational development, preferably in retail or customer-centric industries.

Skills
- Strong expertise in behavioural training, soft skills, and organizational development.
- Ability to design engaging and interactive learning programs.
- Experience in retail or customer-facing environments is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to measure training effectiveness and impact on performance.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and digital learning tools.
Preferred Skills
- Additional experience in utilizing various digital learning platforms or tools can be beneficial.
- Knowledge of current trends in Learning & Development, particularly within retail settings.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in L&D, particularly in behavioural training and organizational development, ideally within retail or customer service sectors.
Environment
- This position will be based at the Head Office located in Lower Parel, providing opportunities for interaction with both corporate teams and retail staff.
