Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler with over 8 years of expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing data models. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Data Vault modeling, a strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, and the ability to work collaboratively with global stakeholders across the UK, US, and Europe. This role requires expertise in SQL, Snowflake, and familiarity with Kimball and Inmon methodologies to support business processes and KPIs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data modeling strategies that are generic, scalable, and consistent across multiple departments.
• Design models that require minimal modifications when business or technical changes occur.
• Utilize Snowflake Data Warehouse for creating and optimizing data models.
• Perform data exploration and analysis using SQL and Snowflake.
• Apply Data Vault 2.0 modeling techniques to support enterprise-level data integration and analytics.
• Collaborate with development teams to explain and review modeling sheets for implementation.
• Partner with business analysts and stakeholders across the UK, US, and Europe to understand requirements, KPIs, and business processes.
• Leverage industry best practices to drive innovation in data modeling and warehousing.
• Document and maintain metadata, standards, and modeling guidelines.
• Work within Agile/Scrum lifecycles, ensuring effective sprint planning, execution, and delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Modeling with proven expertise in large-scale projects.
• Hands-on experience with Data Vault 2.0 modeling.
• Strong understanding of data modeling techniques – OLAP, OLTP, and Data Vault.
• Proficient in SQL and Snowflake for data exploration, modeling, and transformation.
• Basic understanding of Kimball and Inmon methodologies.
• Expertise in systems data analysis with the ability to align models with business processes and KPIs.
• Strong communication skills with experience collaborating with global stakeholders (UK, US, Europe).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
