SAC Planning Datasphere

Job Summary

The SAC Planning Datasphere role is designed for a seasoned technical expert with significant experience in application development and support specific to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning. The successful candidate will contribute to effective planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes while leveraging their comprehensive understanding of SAC's architecture.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAC Planning with over 8 years of technical experience.
• Lead and facilitate requirement gathering workshops, preparing fit-gap documents.
• Implement enterprise driver-based planning solutions in SAC Planning, with experience in at least 2 full life cycle implementations.
• Configure calculations in SAC and conduct debug for performance optimization.
• Enable allocations, advanced formulas, value driver trees, and what-if simulations within SAC.
• Maintain a strong understanding of planning scenarios such as Revenue, OPEX, CAPEX, and Headcount.
• Develop and manage business process flows and workflow capabilities in SAC.
• Work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment while demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in application development and support for SAC Planning.
• Strong functional knowledge of planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes across various industries.
• Extensive experience in implementing driver-based planning solutions in SAC.
• In-depth understanding of SAC Planning architecture and its integration with SAP Datasphere.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAC functionalities, including enabling allocations, advanced formulas, and simulations.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of working with stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with diverse planning scenarios and their practical applications in different business contexts.
• Experience in leading teams for system implementation and user training.

Experience

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, specifically in SAC Planning and enterprise driver-based solutions.
