Job Summary

The Head of Product - Wealth Tech will lead the development of a next-generation Wealth & Alternatives technology platform. As a founding member of the team, the individual will own the product vision, strategy, and execution, driving the creation of an integrated platform that enhances the investment experience for investors, advisors, relationship managers (RMs), distributors, and operational teams. This role demands deep industry expertise in WealthTech, digital wealth management, investment platforms, or capital markets, with a focus on building scalable, innovative solutions from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, architecture, and roadmap for the platform, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Integrate multiple wealth management products and workflows into a single, seamless platform.
• Develop and enhance products across investor journeys, RM and advisor tools, portfolio intelligence, transactions, reporting, and operations.
• Create seamless investment journeys covering Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs, Bonds, Alternatives, and other investment products.
• Build technology solutions to improve RM and advisor productivity, enabling scalable client management.
• Develop portfolio intelligence, personalization, and AI-led advisory capabilities to enhance user experience.
• Establish integrations across broking, investment products, distributors, IFAs, and financial infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely with the CTO and engineering teams from product conception through execution.
• Build and refine product processes, analytics, and team structure as the platform scales.

Qualifications

• 12–18+ years of experience with significant product leadership in WealthTech, Wealth Management technology, investment platforms, or capital markets.
• Deep understanding of investment products, transaction journeys, portfolio systems, and wealth operations.
• Experience with Mutual Funds (MF), Portfolio Management Services (PMS), Alternative Investment Funds (AIF), Bonds, Alternatives, Broking, or Investment Distribution.
• Strong knowledge of RM, advisor, IFA, or distributor workflows.
• Proven track record in building client-facing wealth or investment products.
• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, data management, and financial infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience in building and scaling complex financial products with engineering teams.
• Excellent product judgment with the ability to simplify complex financial workflows.
• Experience in building zero-to-one products with high ownership and accountability.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in leading founding or leadership roles in WealthTech startups or organizations.
• Expertise in AI, personalization, and data-driven advisory solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with business leadership.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance considerations in wealth management.

Experience

• 12 to 18+ years of relevant experience in product management within the financial services or WealthTech industry.
• Extensive experience in building and scaling innovative financial technology products from inception to market.

Environment

• The role is based in Bangalore or Delhi-NCR.
• The work environment involves collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, business leadership, and product teams.
• The position is founding leadership, offering high ownership and strategic influence.
• The work setting is primarily office-based, with potential for hybrid arrangements depending on company policies.
