Job Summary
As a Solution Architect, you will serve as the key technical partner and trusted advisor for our customers. Your primary mission will be to guide them through their cloud security and compliance challenges, assisting in the development of secure and resilient environments. You will function as the bridge between their technical reality and the streamlined compliance offered by our platform.
Responsibilities
- Lead Cloud Architecture Reviews: Proactively engage with customers to lead comprehensive reviews of their cloud environments.
- Translate Technical Gaps into Compliance Actions: Analyze findings from architectural reviews and create a clear, actionable remediation plan, directly mapping technical steps to specific compliance controls such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
- Provide Hands-On Technical Guidance: Collaborate directly with customer Engineering and DevOps teams, offering expert advice and best practices for implementing security controls, IAM policies, network configurations, and data protection strategies.
- Champion the Platform: Act as a technical champion for our product, demonstrating to customers how to leverage the platform for evidence collection and real-time monitoring of their cloud compliance status.
- Product & Engineering Collaboration: Represent customer interests internally by providing feedback and technical challenges to our Product and Engineering teams, influencing product development and enhancements.
- Develop Technical Content: Create and maintain reference architectures, best practice guides, and technical documentation to support effective customer guidance.
- Serve as a Trusted Advisor: Establish strong relationships with customer stakeholders, becoming their go-to expert for cloud security and compliance initiatives.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as a Solution Architect, Cloud Consultant, or Security Architect at a cloud-native company or consulting firm.
- Deep Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience across major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) with the ability to confidently lead technical discussions.
- Proven Architectural Review Experience: Experience conducting AWS Architecture Reviews or similar assessments, with familiarity in compliance frameworks' principles.
- Exceptional Customer-Facing Skills: Strong communication abilities to build trust and explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Problem-Solver Mindset: A natural inclination to solve problems and navigate complex customer environments effectively.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Compliance Framework Knowledge: Good understanding of major compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA) is a strong plus.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is a strong plus.
