Java Springboot Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking skilled Java Springboot Developers to contribute to the development of the Bank’s proprietary Eligibility Engine and Loan Engine. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enhancing the functionality and performance of these systems, utilizing their expertise in Java Springboot and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Java Springboot and Quarkus frameworks.
• Design and implement API solutions (both REST and SOAP).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather and refine client requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues, identifying bottlenecks and bugs effectively.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Work in an Agile Development environment, contributing to iterative development cycles.
• Use Visual Studio Code, Docker Desktop, and GIT for development and version control.
• Manage and interact with databases, particularly Postgres.

Qualifications

• Mandatory Skills:
  • Java J2EE
  • Springboot / Quarkus Framework
  • API development (REST, SOAP)
• 4-6 years of experience in Java Springboot programming (JDK 17+).
• Knowledge of SQL and databases; experience with Postgres is a plus.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Azure Cloud platform is beneficial.
• Experience in Kubernetes (specifically Azure Kubernetes Service) and Docker.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to create effective solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile Development methodologies.
• Knowledge of other programming languages or frameworks can be advantageous.

Experience

• A minimum of 4 years relevant experience, with at least 3 years of direct experience in Java Springboot development.

Environment

• Work Setup: Working from the office 3 days a week.
