Job Summary

The Business Development Representative at our real estate company is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive organizational growth. This role is focused on generating leads, establishing and nurturing client relationships, and supporting the sales team in securing deals. As a key contributor, you will play an instrumental role in expanding our customer base and achieving our revenue targets within the competitive real estate market.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and target potential business prospects through channels such as networking, online research, referrals, and industry events.
  • Generate qualified leads and schedule meetings or calls between potential clients and sales executives.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute effective client acquisition strategies tailored to the real estate sector.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging presentations to potential clients, effectively communicating our offerings and addressing client needs with suitable property solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions using CRM software and relevant tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business development, sales, or a similar customer-facing role, preferably within the real estate industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, demonstrating credibility and trustworthiness to clients.
  • Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales or business development targets.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience within the real estate, property management, or related sectors.
  • Knowledge of the Bangalore real estate market and local business ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with lead generation tools, digital marketing concepts, and social media outreach.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and persuasion skills for closing deals and resolving client objections.
  • Fluency in multiple languages, especially those prevalent in Bangalore, is an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation, qualifying prospects, managing sales pipelines, and supporting successful deal closures.

Environment

  • Full-time position based in Bangalore, with work conducted primarily in a standard office setting.
  • Occasional travel for client visits, property tours, and industry networking events may be required.
