Job Summary

The Azure DevOps Engineer plays a critical role in implementing and managing infrastructure, deployment processes, and CI/CD pipelines on Microsoft Azure. This position contributes to the organization’s goals by ensuring that the development and operations teams are aligned and working together effectively to deliver high-quality software products.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure on Azure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure services and deployment processes.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and data protection regulations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance software reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services, including Azure Functions, Azure App Services, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, specifically Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Understanding of network security, firewalls, and cloud infrastructure security best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile methodologies and practices.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions like Azure Monitor or Application Insights.
• Familiarity with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Cosmos DB, or PostgreSQL.

Experience

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a DevOps role, particularly in cloud environments, is preferred.

Environment

This role may involve a hybrid work setting, allowing flexibility to work remotely or from the office. The position may require occasional presence in the office for team meetings and collaboration.
