Job Description
Financial & Commercial Leadership:
○ P&L Management: Own and deliver the complete Profit & Loss for the business, driving
revenue growth, optimizing costs, and maximizing overall profitability.
○ Pricing Strategy: Develop and execute a data-driven pricing strategy to optimize value
across all sales channels, ensuring sustainable margins and competitive advantage.
○ Driving Margin & Cost Efficiency: Implement rigorous processes for profitability analysis
and cost management across the entire value chain, from sourcing to market.
○ Commercial Planning & Forecasting: Lead the annual and 5-year business planning cycles,
creating cross-functional strategies and tactics to drive category and brand growth.
● Supply Chain & Operations Excellence:
○ S&OP Cycle: Establish and lead a comprehensive Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP)
process to align demand and supply, improve forecasting accuracy, and foster
collaboration across all departments.
○ Supplier Management & Engagement: Take a strategic approach to managing
international brand suppliers, ensuring a seamless flow of products and leveraging
collaborative relationships to optimize the supply chain network for resilience and
flexibility.
● Channel & Customer Development:
○ Distributor Management: Lead Joint UP Business Planning (JUBP) with key track primary
and secondary sales, and drive shared growth objectives.
○ Omni-channel Strategy: Develop and execute a winning strategy across our diverse
portfolio of sales channels, including Modern Trade, General Trade, Chain Retail
Businesses, HORECA, Travel Retail, E-commerce, Internet Resellers, and Direct sales
through our own website via appointed dark stores.
● Strategic Alliances & Brand Stewardship:
○ International Partner Management: Act as the primary liaison between the local market
and the international brand owner. Your role is to build trust, provide data-driven insights
on market performance, and secure buy-in on local growth strategies while meticulously
protecting the brand's global integrity.
○ Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively manage the expectations and objectives of both the
international brand owner and the local Business Principals, translating strategic goals
into actionable plans for the local team.
● Marketing & Brand Ownership:
○ A&P Budget Management: As the ultimate budget owner, you will be accountable for the
strategic utilization and Return on Investment (ROI) of the Advertising and Promotion
(A&P) budget. You will guide the dedicated trade marketing resource to maximize brand
visibility and sales velocity.
○ Trade Marketing Oversight: Direct the trade marketing team to create a compelling value
proposition for trade partners, ensuring our products are preferred over competitors' and
secure prime shelf space.
● Leadership & People Management:
○ Team Management: Lead, mentor, and guide a high-performing team, fostering a culture
of ownership and continuous improvement to ensure alignment and achievement of
business targets.
○ Executive Partnership: Partner closely with the Business Principals and C-suite executives,
providing them with clear and data-driven insights on business performance and strategic
growth initiatives to drive alignment and decision-making.
