Regional Manager – Distribution (NBFC)

Job Summary
The Regional Manager will play a critical business role responsible for owning and driving the distribution engine for their designated geography. This position focuses on sourcing, partnerships, and disbursements, while building and scaling a network of intermediaries to ensure consistent business output through the on-ground team.
Responsibilities

Business Ownership
- Own P&L and business targets for the region.
- Drive loan sourcing, conversions, and disbursements.
- Achieve key metrics such as leads, Assets Under Management (AUM), and revenue.

Distribution Building
- Build and activate a network of Mutual Fund Distributors (MFDs), Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs), local brokers, and channel partners.
- Drive onboarding and productivity of partners.

Team Management
- Lead and manage a team of Feet-on-Street (FOS) executives.
- Ensure strong pipeline generation through daily execution and monitor team productivity and performance.

Execution Excellence
- Ensure high conversion rates through partner engagement and solve on-ground challenges independently.
- Collaborate with central teams for smoother processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- 4–10 years of experience in NBFC, lending, or wealth distribution.
- Strong local network with MFDs, IFAs, and brokers.
- Proven track record of driving business targets.
- Experience in managing on-ground sales teams.
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- High ownership and accountability for achieving numerical targets.
- Comfort in a fast-paced, build-from-scratch environment.
- Strong execution bias (prioritize action over planning).
- Ability to operate effectively under ambiguity.
Experience
Candidates should possess between 4 to 10 years of relevant experience in the fields of NBFC, lending, or wealth distribution.
Environment
The position is based across multiple locations, including Bhopal, Surat, Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi NCR. The work setting is primarily on-ground with a focus on driving distribution and managing local teams.
