Google Migration Engineer (Google Cloud to SharePoint)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Google Migration Engineer with over 6 years of IT experience to lead the migration of Google Cloud services—such as Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets—to SharePoint. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience with cloud migration projects. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless transition, maintaining data integrity and security, and minimizing disruption to business operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and Implement Migration Strategies: Develop comprehensive migration plans for transitioning from Google Cloud to SharePoint.
• Infrastructure Assessment: Analyze existing Google Cloud infrastructure and applications to determine migration feasibility and requirements.
• Plan Execution: Execute migration plans with a focus on ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure smooth project delivery.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues throughout the migration process.
• Team Support: Provide technical guidance and support to team members during the migration.

Qualifications

• 6+ Years of IT Experience: Extensive experience in IT, with a strong focus on cloud migration and SharePoint implementations.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Proficient in Google Cloud services (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets)
  • In-depth knowledge of SharePoint architecture and implementation
  • Hands-on experience in cloud and data migration projects
• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree (BTech, BSc) or higher in Information Technology or a related field.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience with planning, executing, and testing migration projects from Google Cloud to SharePoint.
• Advanced certifications in Google Cloud and/or SharePoint.
• Detailed oriented with a strong focus on ensuring data security and integrity.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams in a dynamic environment.

Experience

• 6+ Years of Relevant IT Experience: Proven experience in cloud migration projects and SharePoint implementation, demonstrating strong technical and troubleshooting skills.

Environment

• Location: Pune, India.
• Working Hours: Flexible working hours with options of 11:00 AM – 8:30 PM IST or 12:00 PM – 9:30 PM IST.
• Work Setting: Collaborative environment with a strong focus on cloud technologies and project execution.

Salary

• Compensation: Approximately 1.5L.
