Job Description

Position Title : Assistant Manager-HR Education : MBA HR Experience Location Reports to : 5-8 years : Bangalore : Sr. Manager HR Key Responsibilities: Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:  Lead end-to-end recruitment for various roles, with a particular focus on R&D talent (engineers, scientists, researchers, etc.) and IT, ensuring that hiring needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.  Develop innovative strategies to attract top-tier talent from both traditional and non-traditional sources, including universities, innovation hubs, and professional networks.  Conduct interviews, assess candidates, and provide input into hiring decisions. On boarding & Employee Experience:  Design and implement a comprehensive on boarding program to ensure new hires have a seamless transition and feel welcomed into the company culture.  Act as a primary point of contact for new employees, answering queries and facilitating their integration into the team. Performance Management:  Lead performance review cycles, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, employee development, and motivation.  Develop and maintain performance management systems that include regular feedback, coaching, and career development plans. Employee Engagement:  Foster a positive and inclusive company culture that encourages innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.  Organize team-building activities, wellness programs, and other initiatives to maintain high levels of employee engagement and retention.  Ensuring a healthy work environment that promotes work-life balance. Compensation & Benefits:  Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive within the industry and align with the company's budget and goals.  Conduct regular market benchmarking to ensure compensation packages attract and retain top talent. Compliance & HR Administration:  Ensure compliance with local labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies.  Oversee HR records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.  Provide advice and guidance to leadership and employees on HR-related matters. Employee Development & Training:  Work closely with Managers / Directors to identify skills gaps and training needs, designing programs to enhance employee skills and support career growth.  Promote a culture of continuous learning, especially in technical and R&D disciplines. Strategic HR Planning:  Collaborate with leadership on workforce planning, including resource allocation, succession planning, and talent development for key R&D roles.  Provide HR insights and data to inform business decisions and optimize organizational effectiveness.
