Job Summary

The Regional Head for Chennai, responsible for South Tamil Nadu and Kerala, plays a crucial role in managing and expanding relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNIs), family offices, and various financial institutions. This role is pivotal in driving business growth in the specified regions, focusing on wealth management products and services.

Responsibilities

• Manage and expand relationships with HNIs/UHNIs, family offices, mutual fund distributors (MFDs), independent financial advisors (IFAs), banks, wealth platforms, and institutional investors.
• Work closely with Mutual Fund Cluster Heads to identify and leverage cross-selling opportunities.
• Cover 4 clusters in Tamil Nadu and 3 clusters in Kerala to maximize outreach and service delivery.
• Maintain a strategic approach to ensure strong business development and client satisfaction.
• Drive the individual contributor role initially, with a potential to evolve into a team management position.

Qualifications

• Education: Relevant Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
• A minimum of 12+ years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of the financial products and services, particularly in Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) and Portfolio Management Services (PMS).
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills.
• Proven track record in client acquisition and business development.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with family offices and institutional investors.
• Familiarity with the financial landscape in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing financial products.

Experience

• A minimum of 12+ years of relevant experience in the financial services or wealth management industries.
