Job Summary
The DevOps Engineer plays a pivotal role in managing and streamlining the deployment and maintenance of applications and services in a cloud environment. This role is vital for enhancing collaboration between development and operations teams, ensuring the efficient operation of continuously integrated systems, and ultimately contributing to the organization's goals of scalability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Automate repetitive tasks and workflows to improve efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex distributed systems independently.
- Manage and monitor applications and infrastructure using tools like Splunk, New Relic, or Azure Monitoring.
- Oversee incident response, conduct root cause analysis, and facilitate post-incident reviews.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure CLI.
Qualifications

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Java.
- Deep understanding of Linux/Windows operating systems and networking concepts.
- Experience with AWS and Azure, including services, architecture, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and related containerization and orchestration tools.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure CLI.
- Experience with CI/CD processes and tools such as GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge in supporting Azure ML, Databricks, and other related software as a service (SaaS) tools.

Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with teams and documentation of processes like Runbooks.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with specific cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Relevant certifications in cloud engineering or DevOps.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and supporting AI/ML solutions.
Experience
- A minimum of 7.5 years of relevant experience is required.
