AI/ML Engineer – Automation Team (Individual Contributor)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled, self-driven AI/ML Engineer to join our Automation and AI team. In this role, you will lead the development of end-to-end AI/ML solutions as an individual contributor while providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to design, build, and deploy intelligent solutions that drive real business impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead Development: Act as an individual contributor by delivering end-to-end AI/ML solutions, encompassing the full machine learning lifecycle (data collection, modeling, validation, deployment, and monitoring).
• Mentorship: Provide technical mentorship and thought leadership to junior members, ensuring best practices in AI/ML development.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate AI/ML needs into actionable projects with well-defined scopes, goals, and deliverables.
• Model Development: Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), statistical modeling, and feature engineering to build and fine-tune predictive and prescriptive machine learning models.
• Framework Utilization: Develop models using advanced frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch, and work with cutting-edge technologies including Transformers, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Vector Databases, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor model performance, perform drift analysis, and enforce responsible AI practices, including bias and fairness checks.

Qualifications

• Experience: 6+ years in AI/ML engineering or data science roles with a proven track record as an individual contributor.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience using libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and SQL.
  • Expertise in machine learning frameworks, including Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
  • Demonstrated experience working with LLMs, Transformers, Vector Databases, and RAG pipelines.
• Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (e.g., BTech/MTech) is preferred.
• Responsible AI: Familiarity with bias, fairness testing, and responsible AI principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience deploying models using ML Ops pipelines.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, FAISS, or Weaviate is a plus.

Experience

• Minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience in AI/ML engineering or data science roles.

Environment

• Work Setup: Hybrid mode; a minimum of 1 day per month at the client site.
• Locations: Noida, Gurgaon, Indore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Bangalore.
• Additional Note: The candidate must collect the laptop from the client locat
