Job Summary

The Major Incident Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing major incidents to ensure minimal disruption to the organization's services. This position is vital for maintaining high service levels and facilitating effective communication among stakeholders during incidents.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the response to major incidents, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication.
  • Handle bridge calls effectively during incidents, facilitating discussions among technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with international support teams to ensure consistent service delivery across time zones.
  • Ensure adherence to ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) best practices in incident management.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on incident status to management and other relevant parties.
  • Mentor and support team members in incident management processes and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 3–6 years in Incident & Major Incident Management.
  • Key Skills:
    • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
    • Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks.
    • Ability to manage bridge calls and facilitate multi-team discussions.
    • Experience in providing international support.
    • Familiarity with NOC (Network Operations Center) services and IT language.
    • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage stressful situations effectively.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with incident management tools and software.
  • Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) principles.

Experience

3–6 years of relevant experience in major incident management roles.

Environment

  • Work is performed in a virtual setting, offering flexibility with a 3 days/week schedule along with 1 alternate extra day.
  • Day shift from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • Cab service is provided for commuting.

Salary

CTC up to ₹6 LPA, with ₹7 LPA for exceptional profiles.
