Job Summary

The Engineering Manager will lead a talented engineering team, overseeing the development lifecycle of our GRC platform. This role is critical in ensuring that we meet our product objectives while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for driving technical excellence and guiding the team to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering team, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities.
• Oversee the entire software development process, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to define product vision and roadmap.
• Implement best practices in software development including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
• Foster a culture of innovation and agile practices, encouraging team members to propose and experiment with new ideas.
• Ensure alignment of engineering projects with business goals and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience in software development, preferably using Node.js.
• Proven track record of managing engineering teams, particularly in a startup environment.
• Familiarity with AI-driven solutions is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) frameworks.

Experience

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Experience as a founding engineer or in early-stage startups is highly desirable.
