The Finance Executive (Generalist) plays a crucial role in enhancing the finance function by ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and contributing to business growth initiatives. Responsibilities

Accounting & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledgers.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures.
- Handle vendor payments, invoicing, Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), Goods and Services Tax (GST), and bank reconciliations.
- Support preparation of Management Information System (MIS) reports for management review.

Budgeting & Analysis
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable/payable, and expense tracking.
- Provide insights to support financial decision-making.

Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation, and statutory regulations.
- Work with internal teams, statutory auditors, and consultants to support audits.
- Contribute to strengthening internal financial controls.

Process Improvements
- Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and process optimization.
- Contribute to best practices in financial management and reporting.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, or Accounting. Chartered Accountant (CA Inter) or Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a finance/accounting role.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Excel, Tally, and accounting/ERP software (such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, etc.).
- Good understanding of accounting principles, taxation (TDS, GST), and compliance.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with financial regulations and standards.
- Experience in process automation tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience
A minimum of 2 years in a finance or accounting role is required, with experience in related tasks and responsibilities.
Environment
