Job Summary

The Power BI Analyst will be responsible for developing comprehensive data visualizations and reports using Power BI. This role requires a deep understanding of financial reporting and an ability to simplify complex data into actionable insights, contributing to informed decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
• Utilize DAX and Power Query (M) for data modeling and transformation processes.
• Implement Zebra BI visuals for enhanced reporting scenarios, delivering impactful visual data representations.
• Conduct variance analysis and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) for financial reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver tailored data solutions.
• Manage access permissions and Row-Level Security (RLS) within the Power BI Service.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI, including expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling.
• 2+ years of dedicated experience utilizing Zebra BI visuals in real-world reporting scenarios.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Proven ability to handle large datasets from diverse sources (SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, etc.).
• Solid knowledge of Row-Level Security (RLS), Power BI Service, and workspace management.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to effectively communicate complex data visually.
• Familiarity with IBCS or other visualization standards is a plus.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (Power BI) certification.
• Zebra BI Certification (if applicable).
• Experience with Power Automate, Paginated Reports, or other Microsoft technologies.

Experience

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Power BI and data visualization.
