Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an EV lithium battery design and ESS Battery design engineer, located in Mumbai. As an engineer in this role, you will be responsible for designing EV lithium batteries and Energy Storage System (ESS) batteries. Your day-to-day tasks will involve developing battery design concepts, conducting simulations and analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative battery solutions.

Qualifications

BE / Diploma Mechanical Engineering

• Strong knowledge of lithium battery design principles and energy storage system technology
• Experience with battery pack design and thermal management
• Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools
• Understanding of battery safety standards and regulations
• Knowledge of battery testing and validation procedures
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• JOB Profile: -
• Additional Information: Lithium-ion battery pack designer, experience in NPD (new product development).
• Must have worked on Design Software (Solid Modelling, Sheet Metal, Surface Modelling, Detailing, Skeleton), Solid Works and AutoCad.
• Experience in the mechanical domain of design with product life cycle experience.
• Synthesize inputs to develop mechanical solutions as per project requirements.
• Proven experience in sheet metal enclosure design and development.
• Manufacturing knowledge of plastics, sheet metal, and assembly processes.
• Basics of mechanics, strength of material and simple mechanical calculations should be known.
• Good verbal and presentation skills is a must.
