Job Summary

The Marketing Data Lead will build and own the entire marketing intelligence layer for Chosen Store. This role is critical in transforming consumer behavior, marketing performance, and product usage data into actionable strategies that enhance acquisition efficiency, retention, personalization, and overall revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze consumer behavior data, marketing performance data, and product usage signals to inform strategic actions.
  • Own core metrics such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Value (LTV), retention rates, cohort revenue growth, and payback periods.
  • Develop comprehensive visibility into customer journeys through awareness, education, consultation, purchase, and repeat behaviors.
  • Guide leadership on strategic marketing budget investments to maximize long-term value over short-term performance.
  • Work on segmentation based on skin concerns, regimen stages, climate, geography, and product adoption signals.
  • Assess the business impact of education-led marketing, community engagement, and dermatology positioning.
  • Collaborate with Growth, Brand, Product, and R&D teams to enhance feedback loops between customer behavior and product strategy.
  • Build and scale the marketing data infrastructure, including dashboards, attribution frameworks, experimentation setups, and customer data integrations.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in marketing analytics, growth analytics, or marketing data science, preferably from D2C, consumer tech, or digital-first consumer environments.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
  • Ability to interpret complex data into simple, actionable narratives for senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work cross-functionally.
  • Knowledge of consumer science and lifecycle intelligence is a plus.
  • Experience with customer journey mapping and behavioral analytics.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and customer relationship management software.
  • Understanding of statistical analysis techniques and data visualization tools.
  • Experience in deriving insights from large datasets and presenting them effectively.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years in a marketing analytics or data science role, with a focus on consumer behavior and data-driven decision-making.
