Role Overview:
The position is responsible for overseeing end-to-end electrical and mechanical design of large power transformers, ensuring the highest standards of performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all aspects of transformer design — from concept to delivery — ensuring adherence to engineering and design best practices.

Establish, standardize, and enforce engineering and design guidelines across teams.

Build, mentor, and scale a high-performance engineering team, leveraging existing raw talent and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

Work closely with sales, manufacturing, quality, and service teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, serviceable, and aligned with customer requirements.

Collaborate across geographies to harmonize global engineering standards and bring design efficiency.

Ideal Candidate:

A seasoned professional who has “been there and done that” — with hands-on experience in large power transformer design and development.

Brings versatile exposure across design, manufacturing, and service — not limited to core design engineering.
