Job Summary
The SNOW Business Analyst will be responsible for the configuration, implementation, and administration of the ServiceNow platform, focusing on various modules. This role is critical for ensuring that ServiceNow applications such as Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management function effectively to meet business needs. The Analyst will work closely with internal customers to enhance workflows and will ensure that all tasks are completed within service level agreements (SLAs).
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, monitor, control, and close all technical tasks related to the configuration and implementation of the ServiceNow platform.
- Break down client requirements and develop demo dashboards and reports for end-users.
- Engage with clients and end-users to understand their needs and work within SLAs.
- Maintain and update a comprehensive testing protocol for ServiceNow instance upgrades to ensure application usability post-upgrade.
- Analyze and interpret business requirements to propose sustainable solutions in ServiceNow.
- Create and maintain system design and operations documentation, ensuring accurate records.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and prioritize multiple client requests and requirements.
- Work independently in a remote setting while managing multiple engagements effectively.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or relevant field (not specified).
- 6+ years of experience in service management with a strong working knowledge of ServiceNow.
- Experience with various ServiceNow applications such as Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting within ServiceNow.
- ServiceNow Systems Administrator Certification.
- Working knowledge of IT Business Management (ITBM) applications.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with standalone and multidomain ServiceNow instances.
- Ability to facilitate and support Change Advisory Board meetings.
- Experience developing and analyzing reports and dashboard views.
- Knowledge of creating Incident template forms.
- Significant experience in ITBM Configuration, Administration Development, Customization, Migration, and Upgrades.
Experience
- Minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience in IT service management and ServiceNow.
Environment
- This is a remote position with the requirement to be onsite 1-2 days a month in one of the following locations: Indore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Gurgaon, or Noida.
- Typical working hours are from 11 AM to 8:30 PM.
