Oracle APEX Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Developer for a 3-month term position. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing robust applications using Oracle APEX while contributing to the overall goals of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using Oracle APEX to meet project requirements.
• Work with Oracle databases, utilizing SQL and PL/SQL for data management tasks.
• Employ web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in application development.
• Manage version control and collaboration through systems like Git.
• Implement and perform unit testing and other testing methodologies to ensure the quality of developed applications.
• Utilize Java for backend development and integration with APEX applications.
• Integrate APEX applications with various APIs and external data sources.
• Leverage knowledge of cloud computing, specifically Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), in application deployment.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating development and deployment processes.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Oracle APEX development.
• Solid understanding of Oracle databases, including advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills.
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
• Background in unit testing and familiarity with other testing strategies.
• Proficiency in Java for backend and integration tasks.
• Experience with API integrations.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, primarily Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Experience with setting up and using CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Additional experience in web frameworks or libraries could be a plus but is not mandatory.
• Familiarity with other database technologies beyond Oracle may enhance the candidate's profile.

Experience

• Previous experience as an Oracle APEX Developer or in a similar role is preferred, with a strong emphasis on relevant application development experience.

Environment

• This role is remote, allowing flexibility in the work location.
