Job Summary

The MQ Infrastructure Architect will be responsible for managing and optimizing the enterprise message queuing infrastructure. This role involves developing robust MQ architectures and implementing enterprise-level strategies that standardize key MQ platforms, ensuring smooth operations and effective monitoring solutions.

Responsibilities

• Run and maintain the Enterprise MQ infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Develop MQ architecture and enterprise-level strategies for message queuing systems.
• Standardize MQ platforms and enforce MQ standards across the organization.
• Define and implement MQ standards and best practices across various teams.
• Develop and implement monitoring solutions for MQ systems to enhance performance and uptime.
• Initiate upgrades and manage vulnerability assessments related to messaging systems.
• Set up MQ monitoring using Dynatrace or New Relic for proactive incident management.

Qualifications

• Expert level knowledge of Rabbit MQ, IBM MQ, and OMQ.
• Strong automation skills with proven experience automating MQ processes, such as rehydrating MQ instances.
• Proficient in Ansible automation and developing scripts/playbooks tailored for MQ.
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud-based applications.
• Experience in driving end-to-end MQ automation processes.
• Competence in creating tools to facilitate MQ-related activities.
• Proficiency with Jenkins, Git, and Python for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace or New Relic is a plus.
• Familiarity with hybrid working models in cloud environments.

Experience

• 3-10 years of relevant experience in managing and automating enterprise MQ infrastructures and related technologies.

Environment

• This position is based in Chennai, Hyderabad, or Bangalore.
• The role requires flexibility to work in the PST shift, which may extend up to 10 PM IST.
• The position is primarily preferred to be on-premises but operates in a hybrid model.
