<div>About the role<br /> Born Good is looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Area Sales Manager to lead our<br /> outdoor sales and distribution efforts in India. This role is responsible for driving sales, increasing<br /> distribution reach, engaging channel partners, driving marketing execution, infrastructure<br /> planning &amp; execution and to gain market share.<br /> Key Responsibilities<br /> 1. Territory Management:<br /> a. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targetsand capture market growth with a clear focus on profitability.<br /> b. Lead business planning and forecasting for the assigned area<br /> 2. Channel Development:<br /> a. Build and maintain strong relationships with outdoor retailers, distributors, and dealers.<br /> Expand the company&#39;s presence in the outdoor retail sector through the identification<br /> and onboarding of new business partners.<br /> 3. Team Leadership:<br /> a. Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team focused on outdoor<br /> distribution. Provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure the team meets or<br /> exceeds sales objectives.<br /> b. Engage and motivate the field force with an objective to achieve ambitious business<br /> plans, maximize incentive earning in the team and reward &amp; recognize right behaviours.<br /> 4. Sales Planning and Execution:<br /> a. Develop and execute sales plans, promotions, and product launches in collaboration<br /> with the marketing team. Monitor and analyse sales performance, making adjustments<br /> as needed to achieve targets.<br /> b. Collaborate with internal stakeholders like supply chain, logistics to ensure quality<br /> market services.<br /> 5. Customer Relationship Management:<br /> a. Foster strong relationships with key clients, addressing their needs and ensuring high<br /> levels of customer satisfaction. Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and<br /> effectively.</div> <div>6. Market Intelligence:<br /> a. Provide market intelligence input to trade marketing / shopper marketing team and<br /> constantly monitor competitor actions in the market.<br /> b. Provide regular reports and feedback to the management team regarding market<br /> conditions and opportunities.<br /> 7. Budget Management:<br /> a. Manage the sales budget for the assigned area, ensuring cost-effective strategies and<br /> efficient resource utilization.<br /> b. Manage costs for the area as per the plan &ndash; subsidy, manpower cost etc.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>Skills we are looking for:<br /> &bull; Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager or in a similar role, preferably in an FMCG<br /> setup.<br /> &bull; Experience in GT &amp; MT sales with 5-6 years of relevant work experience in reputed FMCG<br /> organizations.<br /> &bull; Excellent leadership and team management skills.<br /> &bull; Strong understanding of the outdoor retail market in India.<br /> &bull; Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.<br /> &bull; Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.<br /> &bull; Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div>
