Selector is a Series-B startup seeking strong data software engineers to join the team and help drive customer satisfaction.
Job Summary
The Data Engineer will act as a technical expert on Selector’s operational analytics solution, integrating products to meet customer requirements, deploying solutions, and enhancing product features based on customer feedback. This role is critical to ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Be a technical expert on Selector’s operational analytics solution for network, application, and security workflows.
- Take a hands-on role in the integration of products to meet customer requirements.
- Deploy Selector’s solutions at customer sites, ensuring an understanding of their data, workflow, and analytics needs.
- Ensure customers are adequately enabled to use, understand, and self-serve extensions of Selector’s capabilities.
- Collaborate with the sales team and partners for pre-sales activities.
- Own the design, development, and execution plans for proof of concepts (POC) and lead deployment to completion.
- Improve product features and quality through enhancement proposals and customer reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Proficient in coding with Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Experienced in database technologies.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant hands-on coding experience.
- Proficient with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Azure.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS CloudFormation Templates, and YAML.
- Experienced in designing SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data using Jupyter Notebook.
- Strong communication and comprehension skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with data analytics practices.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in managing data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and frameworks.
Experience
