Software Development Engineer 4

Job Summary

The Software Development Engineer 4 will play a critical role in developing, administrating, and supporting ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules. This position is essential for ensuring the effective implementation and management of ITOM solutions, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop, administer, and support ServiceNow ITOM modules including Discovery, Service Mapping, Software Asset Management, and Hardware Asset Management.
• Implement and manage the configuration management database (CMDB) in an enterprise production environment.
• Configure Event & Alert Management, Software Asset Management, and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
• Utilize JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML for ServiceNow scripting and development.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment, focusing on SCRUM methodologies.
• Support mid servers running on Microsoft Windows Servers and manage API integrations with other systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in developing, administrating, and supporting ServiceNow ITOM.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML with hands-on experience in ServiceNow scripting and development.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design effective ServiceNow solutions.
• Excellent teamwork abilities and strong organizational skills.
• ServiceNow Certifications in CMDB, Discovery, Software Asset Management, Event Management, CSDM, Hardware Asset Management, and ServiceNow Administration (either 1 or 2 mandatory).
• Experience with Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of integration with ITOM and experience with API integrations.
• Strong work ethics and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Experience

• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in ServiceNow ITOM development and administration.

Environment

• This position is based in Bangalore and requires working in-office.

Salary

• Estimated salary range: 3400000.
