Job Summary

The Finance Analyst position is a key role within Clicktech’s Business Finance Team. The analyst will play a critical role as a business partner by owning the Profit & Loss (P&L) for one of the product categories. This role includes responsibilities for financial metrics, reporting, forecasting, and analysis, all contributing to the company’s financial health and operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Partner with teams for financial reporting, ad-hoc business analyses, and financial modeling, while presenting recommendations to category leadership on strategic decisions and initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with the business team to drive critical business goals such as vendor terms improvement (margins/credit) and operational cost management, contributing to Free Cash flows.
• Provide controllership to the business and develop processes that enhance transparency and improve controls.
• Facilitate financial reviews with business groups and ensure effective finance and cost management alongside category leaders.
• Manage financial reporting and analysis, forecasting product lines using key business inputs related to pricing, selection, and convenience.
• Facilitate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews (WBR, MBR, QBR) utilizing data analysis and collaborating with the business team on actionable items to improve business metrics over time.
• Work with the accounting team to drive the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial book close process for the category.

Qualifications

• Education: CA or MBA.
• Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in finance or business analysis.
• Technical Skills: Strong Excel skills with the ability to handle large data volumes; knowledge of Oracle ERP is preferable.
• Soft Skills: Good communication abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to multi-task and manage ambiguity effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in financial forecasting and budgeting.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools.
• Understanding of business operations in the retail sector.

Experience

1-2 years of experience in finance or a business analysis role, preferably within the retail industry.
