Job Description

  • Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional development.

  • Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's goals and objectives.

  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to provide timely and accurate financial insights to senior management and other stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain financial integrity.

  • Manage financial risk by identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks, and implementing appropriate controls and measures.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, optimize resources, and enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives, strategic projects, and decision-making processes with financial analysis and insights.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, vendors, and regulatory authorities.

    Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is required.

  • 8-12 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with demonstrated expertise in finance controllership functions.

  • Prior experience in the retail or consumer industry is highly preferred.

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and

    develop a high-performing team.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a strategic

    mindset and attention to detail.

  • Sound knowledge of financial principles, practices, regulations, and standards, with

    the ability to interpret and apply them effectively.

  • Proficiency in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, and

    financial reporting.

  • Advanced computer skills, including MS Excel and financial management software;

    experience with ERP systems is a plus.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact

    confidently and collaboratively with individuals at all levels.

  • Proven track record of driving results, managing change, and delivering value-added

    solutions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
