Job Description

Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional development.

Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's goals and objectives.

Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to provide timely and accurate financial insights to senior management and other stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain financial integrity.

Manage financial risk by identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks, and implementing appropriate controls and measures.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, optimize resources, and enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives, strategic projects, and decision-making processes with financial analysis and insights.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is required.

8-12 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with demonstrated expertise in finance controllership functions.

Prior experience in the retail or consumer industry is highly preferred.

Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and
develop a high-performing team.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a strategic
mindset and attention to detail.

Sound knowledge of financial principles, practices, regulations, and standards, with
the ability to interpret and apply them effectively.

Proficiency in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, and
financial reporting.

Advanced computer skills, including MS Excel and financial management software;
experience with ERP systems is a plus.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact
confidently and collaboratively with individuals at all levels.

Proven track record of driving results, managing change, and delivering value-added
solutions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
