CBO for the Mutual Fund 

SAMCO Asset Management Company is looking for a seasoned and visionary Chief Business Officer (CBO) to lead and scale its Sales & Distribution franchise across India. The CBO will define and execute a robust national go-to-market strategy to drive business across the MFD channel, Wealth & Banking networks, National Distributors, Digital Platforms, and Institutional segments including Family Offices. The mandate includes building and leading high-performance sales teams, deepening strategic partnerships, enhancing channel productivity, and expanding SAMCO’s footprint across key geographies and investor segments.

The role carries end-to-end ownership of revenue growth, market share expansion, and AUM scaling across channels. The CBO will be responsible for driving sustainable net inflows, strengthening distributor engagement frameworks, improving channel profitability, and embedding a performance-driven sales culture across the organization. A strong command over the mutual fund ecosystem, established industry relationships, and the ability to architect scalable, technology-enabled distribution platforms will be critical to success.

As SAMCO Mutual Fund advances toward its ambition of scaling beyond INR 1,00,000 crore in Equity AUM, the Chief Business Officer will serve as a key architect of this next phase of expansion. The position will play a pivotal role in accelerating distribution depth, strengthening brand equity across retail and institutional networks, and positioning SAMCO as a differentiated and enduring force within India’s asset management landscape.
