Senior Software Engineer (Splunk)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Splunk) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing Splunk implementations to support our data analysis and operations. This role is crucial for enhancing our monitoring capabilities and making data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the core Splunk administration and ensure high availability for data ingestion.
• Implement and troubleshoot Linux Operating System environments and their integration with Splunk.
• Collaborate with IT teams to deploy Splunk in VMware and AWS cloud environments.
• Perform data analysis, create dashboards, and report on operational metrics using Splunk.
• Communicate findings and insights effectively within the team and to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a Technical Stream (B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc in IT and Computer Science or PG in Technical).
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience, with 4+ years relevant experience specific to Splunk.
• Strong foundational knowledge of Core Splunk Administration.
• Proficient in Linux Operating Systems.
• Experience with VMware and AWS cloud environments.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective team collaboration and stakeholder interaction.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data visualization tools and methods.
• Familiarity with scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, Shell).

Experience

• Minimum of 6 years overall experience, with a focus on relevant tools and technologies for a span of 4+ years.

Environment

• This position will be based in Pune, Bangalore, Noida, or Hyderabad, following a hybrid work model with rotational shifts. Candidates should be prepared to discuss their shift preferences during interviews.
