<div>Position Overview:<br />
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Lead Data Engineer to join our founding team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of setting up data warehouses, data lakes, analytics pipelines, and dashboards. Experience in the fintech industry is highly preferred.</div>
<div>Key Responsibilities:</div>
<div> • Design, implement, and manage scalable data architectures including data warehouses and data lakes.<br />
• Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to ensure the efficient movement and transformation of data.<br />
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver comprehensive analytics solutions.<br />
• Build and maintain real-time data processing systems to support business intelligence and analytics needs.<br />
• Create and manage data dashboards, reports, and visualization tools to provide actionable insights.<br />
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all data platforms.<br />
• Mentor and lead a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.<br />
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the data engineering team.</div>
<div>Qualifications:</div>
<div> • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.<br />
• 4-5 years of experience in data engineering, with significant experience in fintech companies.<br />
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake).<br />
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.<br />
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and related data services.<br />
• Proficiency in ETL tools and data integration platforms.<br />
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and database design.<br />
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.<br />
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.<br />
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior team members.</div>
