Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Lead Data Engineer to join our founding team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of setting up data warehouses, data lakes, analytics pipelines, and dashboards. Experience in the fintech industry is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and manage scalable data architectures including data warehouses and data lakes.
• Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to ensure the efficient movement and transformation of data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver comprehensive analytics solutions.
• Build and maintain real-time data processing systems to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
• Create and manage data dashboards, reports, and visualization tools to provide actionable insights.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all data platforms.
• Mentor and lead a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the data engineering team.

• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and related data services.
• Proficiency in ETL tools and data integration platforms.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and database design.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior team members.
