Job Summary

The Cinnamon Kitchen, a prominent bakery and food chain, is seeking an

experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. This role

involves managing end-to-end accounting processes, vendor and customer

reconciliation, and providing actionable financial insights directly to the founder. The

ideal candidate will have a knack for organization, proficiency in MS Excel, and

excellent communication skills. Prior experience in e-commerce or cloud kitchen

management will be a significant advantage.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting and Bookkeeping

o Maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, invoicing,

inventory management, purchases, ledgers, and reconciliations.

 

2. Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP)

o Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and customers on all

accounting-related matters.

3. E-Commerce Reconciliation

o Handle sales reconciliation with platforms such as Swiggy, Zomato,

and other online aggregators.

 

4. MIS Reporting

o Prepare and present detailed MIS and financial reports to the

management, highlighting key financial trends and variances.

 

5. Compliance Coordination

o Collaborate with external consultants to ensure timely filing of GST

returns, TDS, and other statutory compliances.

 

6. Team Leadership

o Supervise and mentor junior accountants, ensuring timely and accurate

task completion.

 

7. Communication and ; Stakeholder Management

 

o Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders

through emails, phone calls, and virtual meetings.

 

8. Process Optimization

o Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement

solutions to enhance accounting and reporting efficiency.

 

Qualifications and Experience

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or

Finance. CA Inter will be considered.

Experience:

o Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting, GST, TDS, and

financial reporting.

o Prior experience in e-commerce accounting or managing finances for

online restaurant chains are preferred.

 

Skills:

o Accounting Software: Proficiency in Tally and Zoho Books.

o MS Excel: Advanced skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and

financial modeling.

o Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

o Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and manage time

effectively.

o Attention to Detail: High accuracy in financial reporting and

compliance.

o Adaptability: Willingness to learn new tools and expand knowledge.
