JAVA Backend

Job Summary

The JAVA Backend role is designed for an experienced software developer with a strong background in Java and related technologies. The position focuses on building robust web-based applications and RESTful web services, contributing to the organization's goals through advanced problem-solving and system design.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web-based applications using Java and related technologies.
• Design and implement RESTful web services with Spring Boot.
• Utilize advanced data structures and algorithms to solve complex problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project initiatives and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Monitor and analyze application performance using tools like Splunk.
• Explore and integrate messaging tools such as Kafka or MQ, and NoSQL databases like Couchbase.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in software development, specifically in Java.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving techniques.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and building RESTful web services.
• Familiarity with messaging tools (Kafka/MQ) and NoSQL databases (Couchbase preferred).
• Experience with cloud computing technologies (Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive, go-getter mindset, with a willingness to drive initiatives.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional cloud platforms and services.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Experience

• Minimum of 9 years of relevant software development experience.
