delivery platforms and ingredients to the cosmetic and personal care industry. It has strong
foundation of technology coming from its Life Sciences background with which it has innovated
delivery systems which can add tremendous value to formulators of Personal Care.
CVR is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (8–10 years) who can position our
unique offerings to brand owners, ODMs (Original design Manufacturing Houses), Flavour and
Fragrance Houses, drive customer acquisition and build deep customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1) Business Development
a) To expand the company’s footprint in the cosmetic and personal care market.
b) To identify and secure new customers
2) Sales & Customer Engagement
a) To make high-impact presentations and conduct techno-commercial discussions to promote
benefits.
b) To lead contract negotiations and close supply agreements.
3) Market Development & Insights
a) To study customer launches and trends to understand consumer needs to identify market
opportunities.
b) To provide strategic feedback to product development teams on new ingredient requirements or
modifications.
4) Leadership & Collaboration
a) To be a self- starter, show entrepreneurial skills to approach work across functions.
b) To build a team and mentor the team as the business scales.c) To work closely with technical, R&D, and marketing teams to align on product positioning and
promotional strategies.
d) Regularly report sales pipeline, revenue forecasts, and market intelligence to senior leadership.
5) Qualifications & Skills
i. ii. iii. iv. v. vi. vii. Bachelor’s degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Chemical
Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
8–10 years of experience in business development, key account management, or technical sales
within the cosmetic / personal care ingredients or specialty chemicals industry.
Strong existing network with cosmetic brands, formulators, and manufacturers is highly
advantageous.
Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
Self-driven, entrepreneurial mind-set with the ability to work independently in a startup
environment.
Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings, events, and exhibitions.
Understanding of Business Finance, negotiation skills
