Job Summary

The Plant Head role is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the plant located in Sonipat. This position is critical for the effective management of production, planning, compliance, and logistics, ensuring that the plant runs smoothly and efficiently. The individual will serve as the legal factory occupier under the Factories Act from day one and will be expected to have strong technical and maintenance expertise.

Responsibilities

• Manage all departments within the plant, including lamination, printing, injection molding (IML), cones, stores, and logistics.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and maintain operational standards pursuant to the Factories Act.
• Oversee production planning and execution, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
• Interface with human resources to address employee relations, training, and compliance issues.
• Maintain a 24/7 operational focus, demonstrating flexibility and commitment beyond standard working hours.
• Drive improvements in maintenance and technical processes to optimize plant performance.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Relevant degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in complex operations, preferably in a senior role with overall experience of 18-25 years
• Multi-Plant Experience: Previous experience handling operations across multiple plants is highly preferred.
• Industry Experience: Exposure to at least two of the following industries: food, printing, or injection molding (IML).
• Career Stability: Demonstrated stability with a minimum of 5 years at a single organization.
• Technical Skills: Strong grounding in maintenance and technical operations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in managing plant-level operations in a senior capacity.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proven track record of achieving operational efficiency and cost reductions.
