Role: Talent Development Head
Reporting to: CHRO
Location: Thane, travel to location-specific sites need basis across India

Job Function:

The Talent Development Lead will be responsible for designing and driving enterprise-wide talent strategies that enable organizational effectiveness, leadership pipeline strength, and a high-performance culture. The role will anchor initiatives across Organization Design, Culture Building, Learning Journeys, Leadership Development, and Talent Mobility (including rotation programs). This role is critical in aligning people capability with business growth priorities, especially in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and institutionalize culture philosophy and enterprise-wide competency framework
• Embed competencies across performance management, learning, and career architecture
• Partner with Talent Management to build a future-ready talent ecosystem (“talent powerhouse”)
• Build end-to-end learning architecture for all employee segments - early career, mid-management and leadership teams
• Develop structured learning journeys aligned to role expectations and career progression pathways
• Integrate technical, behavioral, and leadership capability building through Assessment Centers (ACs), Development Centers (DCs) and other diagnostic interventions
• Design and implement leadership development programs, including HiPo development, first-time manager programs, functional leadership capability building, and executive coaching interventions
• Design and enable career development plans, including for talent rotation programs
• Drive adoption of digital learning platforms and blended learning models
• Leverage technology to enhance learning accessibility, scalability, and engagement
• Align learning and development with internal mobility and succession planning
• Measure learning effectiveness through ROI frameworks and learning metrics
• Build dashboards and actionable insights for leadership reviews

Requirements, Skills, and Qualification

• MBA / PGDM in HR or related field
• 15–20 years of experience in Talent Development / OD / Learning & Development
• Experience in pharma / manufacturing / regulated industries preferred
• Experience with HR tech platforms (LMS, talent systems), competency frameworks and assessment tools
