Job Summary

We are seeking an Ontology & Knowledge Graph Specialist to join our team in Mumbai, Pune, or Bangalore. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining ontologies and knowledge graphs to enhance data integration, semantic understanding, and information retrieval across various organizational domains. The ideal candidate will contribute to building intelligent data frameworks that support advanced analytics and decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain ontologies and knowledge graphs to support organizational data strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into semantic models.
• Integrate knowledge graphs with existing data systems and ensure data consistency and quality.
• Optimize and enhance the structure and performance of knowledge graphs for scalable use.
• Conduct research on emerging trends and best practices in ontology engineering and semantic technologies.
• Document processes, standards, and best practices related to ontology and knowledge graph development.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in ontology engineering, semantic modeling, or knowledge graph development.
• Strong understanding of semantic web technologies such as RDF, OWL, SPARQL, and related standards.
• Proficiency in graph databases like Neo4j, GraphDB, or similar platforms.
• Experience with data integration, data modeling, and schema design.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar for data processing and automation.
• Educational qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related fields.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and text mining.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning techniques related to semantic data.
• Knowledge of ontologies in specific domains such as healthcare, finance, or manufacturing.
