We are recruiting to fill the above position as per the following description.<br /> Role Summary The role of a FEA Engineer is critical in performing and delivering advanced simulations to evaluate mechanical performance, structural integrity, and design optimization for complex equipment used in highly regulated industries. This role involves executing and reviewing Finite Element Analysis activities, preparing detailed technical reports, guiding and collaborating with internal teams and clients to ensure design validation and code compliance.This is a full-time, on-site position located in Pune City (Viman Nagar).<br /> Duties and Responsibilities<br />
- Perform and lead simulations including:<br />
- Linear & nonlinear static analysis<br />
- Thermal and thermomechanical analysis<br />
- Fatigue and fracture mechanics<br />
- Modal and seismic analysis (response spectrum/time history)<br />
- Work in accordance with industry standards such as ASME, API, IS etc.<br />
- Setup FEA models using ANSYS Mechanical, Abaqus, and meshing tools such as HyperMesh/ANSA.<br />
- Coordinate with design teams to interpret CAD models, loading conditions, boundary constraints, and material properties.<br />
- Prepare detailed and traceable technical reports clearly outlining methodology, assumptions, boundary conditions, analysis results, and recommendations.<br />
- Review simulation outputs to identify critical stress points, potential failure modes, and validate safety margins.<br />
- Support design modifications based on FEA insights and customer requirements.<br />
- Organize and maintain proper documentation and archiving of models, project files, and reports for traceability.<br />
- Communicate technical findings effectively to internal stakeholders and clients, including during reviews and audits.<br />
- Stay updated with the latest software capabilities, modeling techniques, and industry requirements.<br /> Qualifications and Skills<br />
- BE/ BTech or ME/ MTech in Mechanical Engineering.<br />
- Minimum 2 year’s hands-on FEA experience, preferably in Process Equipment, Oil & Gas, or Industrial Products.<br />
- Proficiency in ANSYS Workbench/ APDL, Abaqus, and HyperMesh/ANSA.<br />
- Sound understanding of mechanical codes like ASME (III & VIII), API, EN13445, RCC-M.<br />
- Working knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or UGNX.<br />
- Strong report writing and documentation skills — ability to clearly convey complex analysis results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.<br />
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
