Job Summary

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) Intern at Spyne, you will play a critical role in driving our expansion by identifying, connecting with, and qualifying potential customers who can benefit from our SaaS solutions. You will be responsible for outbound prospecting efforts, nurturing leads, setting up appointments for the sales team, and contributing to the overall success of our sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect Identification: Identify and research potential leads and target accounts within defined customer segments.
  • Outbound Outreach: Initiate cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn engagement to connect with prospects and introduce them to our SaaS products and services.
  • Lead Qualification: Assess the suitability of prospects by understanding their needs, challenges, and potential fit with our solutions.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our SaaS offerings and effectively communicate their features, benefits, and value propositions to prospects.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule qualified demos and meetings for our Sales Executives to engage with potential customers.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions and activities within Salesforce, HubSpot, or other CRM tools.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to align lead generation efforts with business goals.
  • Own the Sales Targets: Track and achieve monthly targets consistently.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in US shifts (7 PM to 4 AM IST).
  • Sales mindset – passionate about outbound sales and lead generation.
  • Ability to handle objections and rejection with a positive attitude.
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce, HubSpot, or other CRM software (preferred but not required).
  • Self-motivated, goal-driven, and eager to learn.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience in a sales or customer-facing role is a plus but not mandatory.
