Job Description
Develop and maintain advanced pricing tools and profitability models, such as
elasticity of demand calculators, to optimize pricing strategies.
• Drive growth in total gross margin dollars by identifying pricing actions that
enhance sales values, conversion rates, margin rates, and customer
satisfaction.
• Forecast margins to provide insights into the impact of promotional and
seasonal pricing on business performance.
• Monitor changes in input costs and conduct sensitivity analyses to evaluate
potential effects on finished product/service prices.
• Present pricing analysis, including price sensitivity, elasticity, cross-price
elasticity, and cannibalization, at regular strategy meetings with actionable
insights and suggestions.
• Facilitate bi-directional communication and implementation of pricing changes
throughout the organization.
• Lead pricing-related projects, including setting timelines, defining deliverables,
and preparing communications or presentations.
• Utilize marketing mix modelling to assess the impact of marketing activities on
sales and optimize marketing spend.
