Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on AI Engineer / Generative AI Developer with expertise in the Databricks ecosystem to build enterprise-grade AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI solutions. The ideal candidate should possess practical experience working with Databricks, PySpark, ML pipelines, Large Language Models (LLMs), and enterprise AI architectures. This role involves independently developing, experimenting, and deploying scalable AI applications for real-world business use cases.

Responsibilities

• AI & Generative AI Development

  • Design and develop enterprise AI and Generative AI solutions.
  • Build LLM-powered applications, copilots, knowledge assistants, and intelligent automation systems.
  • Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)-based architectures using vector embeddings and semantic retrieval.
  • Implement prompt engineering strategies and contextual AI workflows.
  • Evaluate and optimize AI model performance.

• Databricks & Data Engineering

  • Develop and manage scalable pipelines using Databricks.
  • Build data processing workflows utilizing Apache Spark and PySpark.
  • Work with structured and unstructured enterprise datasets.
  • Create AI-ready data pipelines and data transformation workflows.
  • Optimize distributed processing and overall system performance.

• MLOps & Deployment

  • Work with MLflow, model tracking, and deployment pipelines.
  • Deploy AI/ML models into production environments.
  • Monitor model performance and optimize inference workflows.
  • Build scalable APIs and integrations for AI systems.

• Collaboration & Problem Solving

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business teams.
  • Translate business requirements into AI-driven solutions.
  • Research and implement emerging AI technologies and frameworks.

Qualifications

• Mandatory Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Databricks.
  • Proficient in PySpark, Apache Spark, and distributed data processing.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Experience working with LLMs, Generative AI, and RAG systems.
  • Hands-on experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.
  • Familiarity with MLflow, model deployment, and MLOps concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and data engineering fundamentals.
  • Experience integrating APIs and enterprise systems.

• Good to Have

  • Experience with Azure Databricks.
  • Exposure to vector databases and semantic search.
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering and LLM optimization.
  • Familiarity with Docker, cloud deployment, and scalable AI systems.

Experience

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in AI/ML or Generative AI.
• Candidates with real-world AI implementation experience will be preferred.

Environment

• This is a full-time, in-office role based in Gurugram, Haryana.
• The work schedule is 5 days a week (Monday–Friday).
