Job Summary
The Workflow & Automation Engineer (iPaaS Specialist) is responsible for designing and implementing integration strategies using various iPaaS tools. This role focuses on creating custom workflows and automations that enhance the organization's operational efficiency and ensure seamless data synchronization across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement an integration strategy using Pipedream, n8n, BullMQ, and other iPaaS tools.
- Build custom workflows and automations with robust error handling, logging, and monitoring.
- Manage OAuth flows, token lifecycle, and secure connector authentication for third-party services.
- Implement real-time data synchronization between external systems like CRM, email, and calendar.
- Orchestrate and trigger AI agents and RAG pipelines based on workflow events and data.
- Ensure workflow reliability, cost-efficiency, and scalability across the automation platform.
- Collaborate with the backend engineer to design APIs and with the AI engineer to define agent interfaces that support seamless integrations.
Qualifications
- Strong, hands-on experience with Pipedream (preferred) or similar iPaaS platforms (Zapier, Make.com, n8n).
- Deep knowledge of OAuth2, webhooks, and API security best practices.
- Experience in building workflows that interact with AI models or agents.
- Proven experience building multi-step, production-grade workflows with comprehensive error handling.
- Strong problem-solving skills for debugging and optimizing live automations.
- Understanding of how to handle and structure data for AI consumption (prompts, context, etc.).
- Educational qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with additional iPaaS platforms.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and applications.
- Knowledge of data transformation techniques and tools.
Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in workflow automation and integration.
- Demonstrated experience in projects that involve building and managing complex integrations across multiple platforms.
Environment
- This role requires a commitment of 8 hours per day, 6 days a week.
- Duration: 3-month contract with potential extension.
- Work Location: Not specified (consider remote or in-office arrangements based on company policy).
Salary
- Compensation of up to ₹80,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
