Job Summary

The Partnerships & Brand Activations Lead / Manager will play a crucial role in driving strategic collaborations and brand activations that enhance brand awareness, improve distribution, drive customer acquisition, and contribute to revenue growth. This role demands a highly entrepreneurial spirit coupled with strong expertise in brand partnerships, sports marketing, and experiential marketing in consumer-oriented environments.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, negotiate, and close strategic partnerships across sectors such as sports, fitness, wellness, healthcare, retail, and corporate sectors.
  • Build and nurture relationships with fitness chains, sports academies, wellness communities, retail partners, and corporate wellness programs.
  • Develop and execute partnerships with athletes, creators, influencers, and communities to strengthen brand presence.
  • Conceptualize and execute high-impact brand activation campaigns, sampling initiatives, and experiential marketing programs to drive consumer engagement.
  • Lead sponsorship opportunities and manage on-ground activations, marathons, sporting events, fitness festivals, and other experiential partnerships to maximize brand visibility.
  • Manage the end-to-end partnership lifecycle, including prospecting, commercial negotiations, contracting, onboarding, execution, and renewals.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and leadership teams to ensure seamless execution and amplification of partnership and activation campaigns.
  • Track and analyze partnership and activation performance using revenue, customer acquisition, engagement, and return on investment (ROI) metrics, continuously optimizing initiatives for greater impact.
  • Identify new partnership opportunities that contribute to brand growth, product trials, and market expansion.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Partnerships, Brand Alliances, Business Development, Sponsorships, Brand Activations, or Growth Marketing.
  • Proven experience in executing brand activations, experiential marketing campaigns, and sponsorship-led initiatives for consumer brands.
  • Strong network within sports, fitness, wellness, FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods), lifestyle, consumer internet, or D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling strategic partnerships that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, project management, and communication skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to structure win-win partnerships and manage budgets effectively.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of thriving in a fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in wellness or hydration product categories.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and social media strategies.

Experience

  • 5+ years in a relevant role focusing on partnerships and brand activations within consumer brands or similar industries.
